Ron Porat, Co-founder, CEO
Ron Porat has over ten years experience in the field of information security in a corporate environment. Before founding Hacktics, he established the application and database security unit in Bank Leumi (Israel's second largest bank) and was responsible for all application penetration tests and code reviews performed in the bank. Prior to joining Bank Leumi Mr. Porat was in charge of technological and strategic projects for one of Israel's largest security services company, Before entering the security field, Mr. Porat headed a number of software development teams, and has been responsible for the development of complex software architectures, including data mining and real time algorithms.
As CEO of Hacktics, Mr. Porat deals mostly with the vision and strategies necessary for implementing security in complex projects and the process which should be implemented in order to make any organization succeed in executing security, in any project.
Ofer Maor, Co-founder, CTO
Ofer Maor has over twelve years of experience in the Information Technology field, ten of which in information security and application security. Mr. Maor is a pioneer of the application security field, as he is involved in the leading research initiatives in the field, has published numerous papers, appears regularly in leading conferences and is all in all considered a leading authority in this field by all those involved in it.
Before founding Hacktics, Mr. Maor led Imperva™'s Application Defense Center, a research group focused on providing application security services and education. In this capacity, he advanced research activities and was responsible for all the application security services conducted by the company. He was previously a Senior Security Consultant at eDvice, an application security consulting firm. He has also served for three years as an Information Security Officer in the Israeli Defense Forces.
Tal Mozes, Co-founder, COO
Tal Mozes manages all of Hacktics professional services. Mr. Mozes has many years of experience in application penetration testing and code reviews, as well as experience in managing and training professional information security staff, focusing on database and application security.
Prior to founding Hacktics, he was a senior consultant and technological leader in Israel's one of the largest security services company. In that position, he was in charge of projects at several of the company's largest customers from the banking, insurance, and telecomm industries. Prior to entering the security field Mr. Mozes led various development projects. He has over six years of experience in J2EE and J2ME technologies.
